Science in a van

On Thursday we had Science in a van, Science in a van is two people who teach children and adults about science.

At the start of the day the whole school went to the front of the school and watched the show; first they put a table cloth and cups on top of the table cloth onto a table and quickly pulled down the table cloth so that the cups stayed on the table. Next he had a piece of cardboard with strings on it and he put a cup on top of the cardboard and spun the strings around, surprisingly the cup didn't fall off.

Later, in the last block all of LC7 went to Lc5 for science in a van. we learnt all about the periodic table and solids, liquids and gas we also learned about insta snow which is a powder that can soak up about 4 times its velocity.
